Who We Are

Mariesh started IMAIKHA Weddings in Madurai back in 2016. Since then, we've shot weddings across Tamil Nadu.

Data

Information We Collect

We only work with what you give us. No background tracking, no purchased data lists.

Your contact details — name, phone number, email, and city. We get this when you fill our form or ping us on WhatsApp.
Event details — the wedding date, venue, type of function, and anything else you mention.
Messages — WhatsApp texts, emails, anything you typed into the contact form on our site.
Photos and videos — the content we shoot on the day of your event.
Basic site data — which pages you visited and what browser you used. That's about it.
Card details never come to us directly. Payments go through a secure third-party platform.

Purpose

How We Use Your Information

We use what you share to get your booking sorted and your wedding covered properly. Nothing more.

Your enquiry comes in, we read it and write back.
Once the date is confirmed, you get the booking details, contract, and invoice from us.
A few weeks before the wedding, we sit down and go through the day — timing, location, what to expect.
After the event, we hand over your photos and videos through a private link.
If there's anything pending on our end, we'll follow up with you directly.
We look at general site usage to understand what's working and what needs fixing.

We don't sell your details to anyone. We won't send you promotional messages unless you've asked us to.

Photography & Portfolio Use

We sometimes use wedding photos on our website, Instagram, and other places to show people the kind of work we do.

We ask you first. Always.
If you'd rather keep things private, just say so. Nothing about our work changes.
Changed your mind after saying yes? Let us know and we'll sort it.
Anything you've asked us not to share stays off everything.
We won't put your name or personal details out there without checking with you first.
We only put your photos out there if you've said yes.

Security

Data Storage & Security

Your details sit in a secure folder. Nobody outside our team touches them.
Photos and videos go on encrypted cloud storage. You get them through a private link — no open access.
We hold booking records for up to 3 years, then clear them out.
We keep a backup copy of your photos for 6 months after we deliver them. After that, they come off our systems.

No system is completely bulletproof. If something goes wrong on our end, we'll tell you straight away.

Spot something wrong? We'll fix it.
Deletion
Want us to remove your data? We will, except for anything we're legally required to keep.
